lol. I know exactly what you mean. My son did his first degree at MIT, an institution over-represented with extremely clever Asian nerds. The first vacation home in a small whitebread New Jersey town he suffered from withdrawal symptoms and was asking, "Where are all the Asians?"

Right here baby!
Puerto ricans are everywhere if you look hard enough you'll find one

This town invented whitebread!

Seriously (as an adopted latino, eh Msdee?) it's all going swimmingly and much fun is being had, we're just noticing a few key differences. the picture is what hppened when I googel imaged "a norfolk type". It's Wally Webb, local radio's premier voice and model for TV's Alan Partridge.

I miss a particular jumbo-sized Brit who used to reside down the hall.

i guess that is better than missing pizza and wanting a jew.

10 miles up the road, mate. I will agree that anything *hometown+ has to offer on the pizza front is not a match for Brooklyn's finest pies however.

Because I dont have a life I spent HOURS searching online for proof that you can find a puerto rican living in Norfolk and guess waht!?
You can't! Then i searched for puerto ricans living in England. Nothing then I tried Latinos and nothing. I googled, used Wikipedia and you tubed and nothing. Wow!
Im not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing

As we English prepare to spend three days celebrating the persecution and excecution of religious minorities (November5th). Frau Random Doubt and I just wile away our time drinking lovely wine and eating lots of lovely homemade food. We will continue to seek out latinos (i think i saw one in Sainsburys in Attleborough recently but I'm sure he was an American airman) but are resigned to missing out on Jews. I am, quite frankly, the most jewish person in norfolk at thi time. Oy Vey!

You and my old next door neighbour on Angel Road, Oliver Isaacs. You could get together for the high holidays next year- "Next year on Mousehold" and all that.
