I love Ellis Island. The ferry ride, the views.
Yesterday was one of the best field trips ever. Perfect weather, The kids rocked, great times.
Just look at one of the best locations for yard/recess in North America.
(They also learned some stuff but hey, check out the views!)

Fabulous pictures. I have high expectations for the multimedia presentation that comes out of this little foray.
When I was a kid our field trips involved most of the usual places (UN, Statue of Liberty, etc.) but somehow we never visited Ellis Island and, consequently, I've never been there. If you weren't going with the kids, would you bother to go to Ellis Island? Do you think the trip is worth taking?
